City Park is a gathering place for picnics, music and play with a wealth of feel-good people watching opportunities. Inspired by an amazing splash playground and a picturesque gazebo, your sketches from this outing will leave you with a smile.
All levels of artists are encouraged and welcome to attend. Bring a sketchbook and your favorite drawing supplies.

Directions: Meet at south end of park by gazebo. Closest parking is gravel lot by gazebo. There is also street parking, and parking on south end of park near splash park.
Artist Guide
Karen Brighton retired from 30 years herding scientists at a cancer research center and is currently herding artists as volunteer coordinator for the Graphite Arts Center. A lifelong student of the arts, Karen discovered her passion for urban sketching in 2019. She has participated in Edmonds Sketchers since it began and is happiest when she can sit unobserved in a cafe and sketch the people around her.
