How can we warm up the sketchbook pages before the drawing starts? We’ll use a different technique for the ambiance without pens, watercolors, or brushes. How? 

The ambience first.

When using Gelli Print, the most surprising thing is the unexpected and unique results no matter how planned the process can be. Sometimes you get spectacular pages that are a work of art by themselves. Other times, the unexpected can occur, but that will open our minds to find exciting solutions.

Then, the drawing.

While on the street we will make decisions to complete the challenge of this workshop: visual poetry! What to draw? Which prepared pages should be used? How to combine the ambiance with the lines? The pen should move on top of the ink shapes fearlessly. 

The unexpected surprise of this process will allow visual poetry to emerge.
