Live-sketching Interviews

Workshop description
In this workshop you’ll learn tried and tested techniques for live sketching interviews, working quickly in ink to combine your subject’s gestures, expressions and posture with their key quotes in real time. You’ll also experiment with adding value and depth through watercolor washes, page composition using speech balloons that are clear and legible, and most importantly, practice creating truly memorable drawn interactions with the people around you. Starting small with one-on-one exercises, we will progress to interview a local as a group by the end of the session. Prepare to be gently pushed out of your drawing comfort zone!
