Drawing with a Thesis

Workshop description

Participants will set out to draw with a very loose theme that we will explore such as decay, loneliness, isolation, capitalism, tourism or decadence. We will engage in exercises to improve the diversity of subject matter and how complexity can be mined in the mundane. This would include a focus on the human, built and natural environment that speaks to social, political and economic realities on the ground. Participants will be encouraged to reflect in action to what they see and a wider discussion will be had around how to render meaning in the everyday.
