Look, Draw, Think

Workshop description
This urban sketching workshop introduces drawing as a visual language, building a foundational vocabulary to enhance graphical communication. Beginners establish core skills for growth, while seasoned artists expand techniques for greater visual literacy. Explore drawing as a tool for recording, thinking, researching, discovering, analyzing, observing, and designing. Participants learn visual note-taking to craft a personal “Look Draw Think” postcard capturing their Edmonds experience via sketchbook. Emphasizing process over product, the class fosters learning through hands-on practice, yielding insightful sketches rather than polished artworks.
