Figurative Sketching Using Public Art

Workshop description

You can practice drawing humans, in the wild, by first practicing on the ones that stay still – public sculptures! In this workshop we will look at strategies to get the human figures we encounter down on paper, starting with the figurative public art sculpture down at Olympic Beach. Sculptures are often dynamic but static, and are a good place to start to learn some fun techniques that we will then employ in sketching the wild humans we come across.
