Workshop description
An artist residency can give your art a new direction and a sense of purpose. But how do you land one of these plum gigs? Skip the application and appoint yourself! No one can stop you from becoming the unofficial artist-in-residence of your neighborhood park or — let’s think big — Paris! If you can get there, your residency can begin tomorrow.
I’ll demonstrate my strategies and brainstorms ideas with you. Then we’ll all embark on our own decidedly unofficial artist residency of Edmonds Marsh, with a visit from a local expert on hand to inform our work.

- A pen you enjoy writing with
- A stool and sun hat if you need them
