International Festival of Travel Sketchbooks

Edmonds, Washington (USA)

Ticket sales and program information

The excitement around this year’s Sketcher Fest is building!

You’ve already seen the stellar roster of Guest Artists coming to Edmonds July 11-12.

Now, the full program is available, including details about WorkshopsArtist Talks, our traditional Sketchbook Fair at the Edmonds Waterfront Center and other events.

If you are planning to attend, here are important dates regarding ticket sales:

From now until March 14 (noon PDT): Request window for workshops is open
March 21 (noon PDT): General sale opens

Workshops Request Window

Open now until March 14 (noon PDT)

Because workshops are small (limited to 15 participants) and some fill very quickly, we want to avoid the stress of a race-to-click workshop registration. Instead, we are opening a request window between now and March 14.

Here’s how it works:

  • During this request window, please submit your top workshop choice (and a backup) for the morning block and the afternoon block using the Workshop Request Form.

  • If a workshop has more than 15 requests, names will be selected at random after the window closes. If a workshop does not fill, everyone who requested it will be enrolled.
  • After assignments are made, you’ll receive an email confirmation and payment link. Payment must be received within 48 hours of when the email confirmation is sent or your spot will be released. It’s very important to watch your email carefully starting March 15. The price per workshop is $175.
  • After the request window closes and assignments have been made, workshops with open spots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Our goal is to give everyone an equal opportunity to attend a workshop while keeping the process calm and thoughtful.

General Sale

Opens March 21 (Noon PDT)

Sketchbook Fair Ticket — $25

This ticket is valid to enter the Sketchbook Fair at the Edmonds Waterfront Center. To improve the foot traffic, we are offering timed entry tickets. This ticket does not grant access to Artist Talks, but it includes access to the Sketch Lounge upstairs.

Artist Talks Pass — $75

The Artist Talks Pass allows you to attend any Artist Talk on the schedule as long as you arrive before space fills up. If space for an Artist Talk doesn’t fill up, single tickets will be available for purchase at the door ($20 each).

Artists’ Reception Ticket — $75

Catered event at Graphite Arts Center. Limited number of tickets.

Your registration to-do list if you want to attend a workshop:

  • Now: Submit your top workshop choice (and a backup) for the morning block and the afternoon block using the Workshop Request Form before noon PDT March 14.
  • March 15: Start checking your email for workshop confirmation.
Within 48 hours of receiving an email confirmation: Submit workshop payment using the link in the confirmation email or your spot will be surrendered.

  • March 21: General sale opens for Sketchbook Fair, Artist Talks and Artists’ Reception.

Your registration to-do list if you are not planning to attend a workshop:

  • March 21: General sale opens for Sketchbook Fair, Artist Talks and Artists’ Reception.

We hope the approach to workshops registration and ticket sales this year feels fair, transparent and in keeping with the inclusive and community-minded spirit of Sketcher Fest.

Thank you for being part of this community — we can’t wait to sketch together in Seattle and Edmonds in July!
