Artists' Talks at Waterfront Center
Can we access the Artists' Talks upstairs without a ticket to the Fair? Do we need to schedule our Fair tickets for the times when the Talks we wish to attend are happening? If so, how long are the windows for attending the Fair?
Hi and good question!
To attend an Artist Talk either day of the festival you need either an Artist Talks Pass, or an Artist Talk Single Ticket. At the Waterfront Center, you will be able to go directly upstairs and show your Artist Talks Pass or Artist Talk Single Ticket to the volunteer who will welcome you to the Talk. You will not need to have a Sketchbook Fair Ticket.
This means you can get your timed-entry Sketchbook Fair ticket for the afternoon, for example, but still access any Artist Talks happening earlier as long as you have your Artist Talk Pass or purchase an Artist Talk Single Ticket at the event book shop on the ground level.
I hope this answers your question.
Also worth noting: Sketchbook Fair tickets DO NOT include access to the Artist Talks.
Thank you!
