Hook, Sinker and Your Line- Drawing the Action on the Fishing Pier

Follow the fishermen — and fisherwomen — to tell their “tall tales” through your drawings. This workshop is focused on following a single person, or group of people, through their movements and actions as they reel in their catch of the day — and you reel in yours — the story in a drawing. A short demo and exercise on drawing people in action will precede documenting the fishermen and women.

Supply list: Sketchbook. Cartridge pen or felt tip. If you’d like, several weights of felt tip. Brush pen, grey ink, optional one marker in a light color. Watercolor optional.
