Everything you need to know before you purchase a ticket
Types of tickets
Sketchbook Fair $25. This ticket is valid to enter the Sketchbook Fair and Art Market in the ground floor of the Edmonds Waterfront Center. To improve the foot traffic throughout the exhibit hall, we are offering timed entry tickets. Please plan to arrive at the time you select when you purchase your ticket. Note: This ticket does not include access to Artist Talks on the first floor.
Artist Talks Pass $50. This ticket allows you to attend any Artist Talk on the schedule as long as you arrive before room has reached capacity. To better allocate space for each talk, please let us know what sessions you are most interested in attending during checkout.
Sketchbook Fair + Artist Talks Pass Bundle $60. Limited availability.
Artists’ Reception $75. This ticket allows you to attend an evening reception at Graphite to welcome all our Guest Artists to Edmonds. Ticket includes a complimentary drink. Spots are limited.
Saturday Morning Workshop $150. This ticket is valid to attend the workshop you select from the list of workshops offered Saturday Morning (W1-W8). You will make your workshop selection before checkout.
Saturday Afternoon Workshop $150. This ticket is valid to attend the workshop you select from the list of workshops offered Saturday Afternoon (W9-W16). You will make your workshop selection before checkout.
Tips to select events
Sketcher Fest offers different types of events so participants can choose their own experience based on interest and time.
The Sketchbook Fair on Sunday is our main event. If you only have time to attend one event or are just curious about the world of sketching, come down to the Edmonds Waterfront Center to meet our guest artists, see their original sketchbooks, buy their books and art prints at the Sketcher Press bookshop and gear up with art supplies from local and national vendors.
If you are more than just curious, we have a great lineup of Artist Talks both days. Topics include drawing technique, storytelling, reportage, travel adventures and more.
Are you interested in improving your drawing skills? Check out our Saturday workshops.
Want to mingle with all the guest artists and ask them questions in an informal setting? The Saturday evening Artists’ Reception at Graphite will be a relaxed and intimate event to cap the first day of the festival.
And to sketch with others in Seattle and Edmonds before, during and after the festival, make sure to follow Urban Sketchers Seattle and Edmonds Sketchers to learn about their planned meetups.
Tips to purchase tickets
To expedite the process of purchasing tickets, we recommend that you take the following actions beforehand:
- Create an account on the website and add payment information.
- Log into the website with your user credentials before purchasing tickets.
- Be patient after placing an order. Don’t reload the page or click away from it.
- Check your spam folder for ticket purchase notifications.
- After your ticket sale is processed, go to “Orders” under the login menu to view your orders and download your tickets.
