Sketcher Fest 2024: Schedule, Programming and ticket sales information!

Feb. 29, 2024

Greetings from Edmonds!

We are delighted to announce our schedule of events and activities for Sketcher Fest Edmonds 2024! This year we have expanded our program to include more guest artists, more workshops and some exciting new offerings.

Sketchbook Fair
and Art Market

Our signature event, the Sunday Sketchbook Fair and Art Market at the Edmonds Waterfront Center, will be bigger! If you love art and travel and can only take part in one of our events, this is where you’d want to be on July 21.

Workshops

Sketcher Fest workshops will be spread over two days. Watercolor, reportage, illustrated journaling… we are offering a wide selection of topics and techniques for sketchers with beginning to advanced skills. Check out the descriptions to find what’s right for you. Workshops participants will meet their instructors at the state-of-the-art Graphite Arts Center and go to their sketching locations from there. Workshops are limited to 15 participants.

NEW PROGRAMMING!

We are also excited to announce two new programs, Talk and Learn sessions and Sketch Tours.

Talk and Learn

A Talk and Learn is a two-hour session led by a guest artist on a particular topic. Bring your work, ask questions, get personal feedback and engage with the group to level up your skills. Talk and Learns are limited to 10 participants.

Sketch Tours

Sketch Tours are guided sketch walks to specially selected locations led by Edmonds artists who are familiar with each site. Listen to their stories about the locations and sketch together as a group. Tours are limited to 25 participants.
