Is Two Workshops Too Much for One Day?

This will be my first Sketcher Fest, and I’m fairly new to sketching and haven’t attended a symposium before.

I’m deciding whether to take one or two 3.5-hour workshops in a day. Two sounds appealing, but also potentially a bit exhausting.

I’d be interested to hear how others have approached this, especially first-timers. Did you find one workshop per day more effective, or were you glad you did two? Any advice on striking a good balance?

Can we access the Artists' Talks upstairs without a ticket to the Fair? Do we need to schedule our Fair tickets for the times when the Talks we wish to attend are happening? If so, how long are the windows for attending the Fair?

Paine Field Airport

Take note of Paine Field Airport (PAE) in Everett, just 20 minutes north of Edmonds. This small and modern terminal is a great alternative to flying to Seatac Airport. Alaska Airlines is the only airline operating from PAE, with service to San Francisco, Portland, Los Angeles, Orange County, Palm Springs, Las Vegas, Phoenix, San Diego and Honolulu. Flying to and from PAE is much less stressful.
