Program and Schedule

Sketcher Fest Edmonds returns for a second year with more guest artists and expanded programming. Here’s what you can expect:

Our signature event, the Sunday Sketchbook Fair and Art Market at the Edmonds Waterfront Center, will be bigger! If you love art and travel and can only take part in one of our events, this is where you’d want to be on July 21.

Drawing workshops will be spread over two days. Watercolor, reportage, illustrated journaling… we are offering a wide selection of topics and techniques for sketchers with beginning to advanced skills. Workshops are limited to 15 participants.

We are also offering two new programs, Talk and Learn sessions and Sketch Tours.

  • Talk and Learn is a two-hour session led by a guest artist on a particular topic. Bring your work, ask questions, get personal feedback and engage with the group to level up your skills. Talk and Learns are limited to 10 participants.
  • Sketch Tours are guided sketch walks to specially selected locations led by Edmonds artists who are familiar with each site. Listen to their stories about the locations and sketch together as a group. Tours are limited to 25 participants.

Please, study our schedule closely so you know what tickets to purchase when they go on sale March 23 at 11 a.m. PDT.
